For a course at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, I designed a mobile finance app tailored to the needs of students. Managing money while studying can be overwhelming, with expenses such as rent, textbooks, clothing, and nights out quickly adding up. My concept tackles this challenge by bringing all of a student’s bank accounts together into one clear and understandable overview.

The first step is connecting a bank account. The app makes this easy by guiding the user through a secure and simple onboarding flow with their Dutch bank.

The user is presented with a clear list of available banks to connect with, making the process straightforward and transparent.

Afterwards, the user can connect their debit card, making it easy to keep all their financial information in one convenient place.

Congratulations! The user is now fully set up and ready to explore the app and take advantage of its full potential.

The user is presented with a clear and informative overview of their finances, visualized through intuitive charts, key figures, and easy-to-read insights.

The user can switch to a dedicated tab for their debit card, where they have the option to make quick and easy payments directly with their phone.

The user can also set up a savings goal, although this feature was not fully realized in the final product. While many additional features could be developed, I am satisfied with the outcome given the short time frame and grateful for the progress made.
